The 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship grid is already beginning to take shape, with drivers from five countries, including an exciting crop of young Brits, confirmed for the season which will start at Brands Hatch on 22-23 May.

Amongst those already confirmed from the UK are 2020 F4 British Championship runner-up Zak O'Sullivan, who will race with Carlin. The nine-time F4 winner will be joined at the reigning champion team by Australia's Christian Mansell, F4 Rookie Cup winner last season, and young American Bryce Aron, a Team USA Scholarship alumnus.

Carlin was the first team to complete its three-strong line-up for 2021, but hot on its heels is Elite Motorsport, a new team to the category next year. Elite has already confirmed last year's Ginetta Junior Championship winner Tom Lebbon and Spain's Javier Sagrera Pont - an announcement on a third driver will be made soon.

Arden Motorsport is another squad new to BRDC British F3 this year, and the established single-seater squad has already made its first move in the driver market by securing Frederick Lubin, another F4 graduate, for this year.

The other drivers confirmed so for this year are Brazil's Roberto Faria, who returns with Fortec Motorsports after contesting the latter half of last season with the same team, and Bart Horsten who will be looking for a first win in the series as he switches to Hitech GP for his second year in the category.

Other established, race-winning teams in BRDC British F3 this year include Chris Dittmann Racing, Douglas Motorsport, and Hillspeed, whilst JHR Developments has two cars following its part-time campaign in the championship last year.
