Kiern Jewiss, Johnathan Hoggard and Ulysse De Pauw were the top three finishers in the final BRDC British F3 race of the weekend on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit. Here's what each had to say at the end of the race.
Winner, Kiern Jewiss:
"It's about time, a long time coming, but what a way to go out in style at my home race with all the guys from FM Conway, my family and friends, it's been great. Big thanks to them and Douglas Motorsport who have done a great job this weekend. I was hanging on out there a lot but we won the race so it doesn't matter.
"At the start I thought 'here we go, that's alright, we can pull out a gap' but then he started coming at me and I thought 'oh no, go away!' But it's been great and hopefully we can go forward to Silverstone and have another great result."
Second, Johnathan Hoggard:
"Really good results this weekend in terms of the championship, I'm a bit annoyed about my start but it's just one of those things. I made a small mistake and that's what cost me the race win today.
"It's really narrow with really high speed corners, so the dirty air plays a really big factor. No matter how close I got the front just washed away and I dropped back a couple of car lengths again.
"I need to focus on the last two rounds, and get some more good results for the championship."
Third, Ulysse De Pauw:
"It was pretty hard because Clement (Novalak) was behind and he was putting a lot of pressure on me. I couldn't build a gap as he was always with me but he never had a chance to attack me. I managed to keep him behind me and I'm pretty happy with that podium on my first time here.
"The 1-3 finish means the team are working pretty well and I'm really happy for them."
