Johnathan Hoggard shot to the top of the Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup standings with a double pole at Donington Park last weekend (22-23 June).
Hoggard, who now has three poles to his name after claiming his first at Snetterton in May, is now one pole clear of championship leader Clement Novalak in the race to secure the end of year £1,000 prize.
Hoggard's Donington double meant he claimed £400 in prize money, taking his total for the year up to £600. Double R's Pavan Ravishankar claimed the reverse grid pole for race two, and claiming a trophy in the process.
The driver with the most pole positions* throughout the season will again receive an end-of-year prize of £1,000 and a trophy, signifying a total prize pot of £4,200 for the year.
The award is named after Jack Cavill, who played a vital supporting role in the early careers of several notable drivers from the 1960s onwards.
The prizes are presented at each round by Jack's son John, who has followed in his father's footsteps, helping famous names such as Tim Sugden and Will Power.
