Just like a real race weekend, drivers took to the (virtual) track yesterday to check their set-ups and familiarise themselves with Oulton Park's curves and bends in preparation for Sunday's British F3 iRacing Championship opener.
The new venture in association with Apex Racing TV will see drivers take on five circuits over five weeks, broadcast live at 6pm every Sunday from 17 May on British F3's official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
So who'll be setting the pace when the flag drops on Sunday? Douglas Motorsport's Harrison Scott and Fortec Motorsport's Johnathon Hoggard shared the spoils at the top of the timings, but there was only 2.2 seconds between the top 16 so expect some close battles when racing gets underway.
Watch all the build-up and live action from 6pm on British F3's Facebook page or on the official British F3 YouTube channel, plus commentary and driver interviews with Mark Werrell holding the virtual microphone!
