FIA Formula 3 racer Andreas Estner will compete with Lanan Racing in the BRDC British F3 Championship at the forthcoming rounds at Silverstone (8-9 June) and then Spa Francorchamps in July.
With the F1-supporting F3 series set to visit both circuits in the coming months, the 18-year-old German will gain valuable mileage in a highly competitive environment when he makes his British F3 appearances at the two F1 venues.
Estner has enjoyed a productive career so far having graduated from karting in 2016 to take part in the ADAC F4 category in his home country.
Remaining in ADAC F4 for two more seasons, he also gained additional experience with occasional drives in Formula Renault NEC and Italian F4.
He began the 2019 season with a strong showing in the MRF Challenge, where he won three races and claimed six podiums to finish fourth overall, before moving up to the new FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport.
