Tom Lebbon will graduate in to the 2021 BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Elite Motorsport, the team's second driver announcement ahead of its maiden season in the UK's leading single-seater series.
Lebbon's move into open-wheel racing comes following an impressive debut season in the Ginetta Junior Championship, during which he won both the outright and Rookie titles. His impressive season included 15 overall podium finishes from 21 starts, including five race wins, and 13 Rookie class wins. He claimed seven pole positions too, and registered just one retirement.
The youngster from Bury St Edmunds began karting aged eight, and 2019 he finished fourth in the IAME European Karting Series, including a victory at Casteletto, Italy. Tom, who finished second in the British LGM series that year, was awarded the 2020 Ginetta Junior Scholarship in October 2019.
